In 2009, Lil Wayne was fresh off dropping the triple platinum release, Tha Carter III and was about to embark on an experimental project in the rocked-themed Rebirth. But before he took it there, he released the mixtape No Ceilings on which he was snapping like a packed poetry jam. After six years, is Weezy finally ready to drop the sequel? It appears so.

Friday night (Oct. 30), Tune was in the house at Ivy Nightclub in Miami and got on the mic and started spitting never-before-heard remixes. Footage of Wayne spitting over Future's "Where Ya At" instrumental was captured by DJ E-Feezy who says the rap is off an upcoming No Ceilings 2 mixtape. "Well we can officially say "No Ceilings 2" is on the way #LILWAYNE," he typed under one video of the Cash Money (for now) rapper. "Lil Wayne dropped exclusives last night at Ivy "no ceilings 2" ????? You ready?!," he added under another video (below).

A new NC mixtape would come with perfect timing as the original was released on Halloween 2009. The tape featured memorable remixes of F.L.Y.'s "Swag Surg," Jay Z's "D.O.A," and "Run This Town," Fab's "Throw It In The Bag" and the original cut, "I'm Single."

Wayne might have given away another clue of the impending release a few days ago. On Thursday (Oct 29), he teased a remix of Drake's "Back To Back" on Snapchat. In the eight second video, Tune can be seen in the booth and his vocals can be heard on top of the Drizzy diss track.

Hey, it's not Tha Carter V, but we'll take it.
