Cops have seized property from Lil Wayne's Miami beach house according to a report by TMZ. Cops are retrieving assets from Wayne as a result of his failure to pay $2 million to Signature Group, a private jet company. Wayne was also ordered to pay $200k in lawyer's fees. The New Orleans rapper lost a lawsuit to Signature Group back in September, who sued Wayne for not paying fees during the first two years of a three year deal he had with the company. Wayne had reportedly built up a tab of $1 million as of July 2014.

In addition to what he owes the Signature Group, Wayne was recently sued by his own lawyers in this case. The law firm Garbett, Allen and Roza are looking to obtain $80,000 in unpaid fees.

According to TMZ, Wayne's security did not allow police to enter the Miami property. The outlet obtained a court order which stated that Miami-Dade County Sheriff's deputies were allowed to break down doors to gain entry if necessary and seize assets. Wayne is currently out in Los Angeles and no official statement on the matter has been given at this time.
