Missy Elliott is back and working it in a major way. After making an appearance in February's Super Bowl Halftime Show, Missy dropped a teaser during last night's ON ESPN during Monday Night Football, a 30 second spot previewing the upcoming NBA Season soundtracked by Missy's new single "WTF (Where They From)." The track, produced by Pharrell, syncs perfectly with the basketball footage, lobs and dunks punctuating the slapping staccato of the beat's percussion. You can watch that above. the full version drops on November 13th.

Missy has also been spotted around L.A. shooting a video for "WTF" and made a cameo on a recent episode of The Voice as an advisor for show judge Pharrell and his team of singers. Elliott has been in the studio with Timbaland and Pharrell working on her first record since 2005's The Cookbook.

The thirst levels for new music from Missy has been on an all-time high ever since her Super Bowl performance with Katy Perry. She missed The Grammys this year because she was in the studio with Timbaland. In February the hip-hop vet released her take on “Take U There,” the Kiesza-featuring song originally crafted by Diplo and Skrillex under the moniker Jack U and performed at this year's Essence Music Festival. Most recently, Missy teamed up with Janet Jackson for "Burnitup" a track off the singer's new album Unbreakable.
