Lil Wayne is no stranger to rapping on other people's beats and he's back at it again. In a Snapchat recorded by Young Money artist Stephanie Acevedo, Lil Wayne was revealed to be recording a remix to his label mate Drake's "Back to Back." The video was quickly ripped and uploaded to Youtube.

The fact that Lil Wayne is doing a remix to the song might hint at the New Orleans rapper preparing a new mixtape. Considering Wayne's relentless recording schedule, it would come as no surprise that he's itching to release some new material. Wayne's Free Weezy Album dropped back in July as his album Tha Carter V remains in limbo. Wayne also released Sorry 4 The Wait 2 in January to give his fans something to hold them over as Tha Carter V delays continued.

There's still no update on Tha Carter V's status as Lil Wayne's efforts to leave Cash Money Records as the current legal battles between Wayne and Birdman remain at a standstill. Outside of music, it's been a rough month or so for Wayne as a string of unfortunate developments have surrounded the Young Money rapper. Wayne was recently sued by his former lawyers, had a sex tape leak on the Internet and broke up with Christina Milian.
