Christina Milian appeared on HuffPost Live on Monday (Oct. 26) to discuss her music, acting career and life raising her daughter. But with last month's news that Milian's relationship with Lil Wayne ended, the topic was naturally brought up in her interview with Huffington Post. Milian had nothing but nice things to say about her ex-boyfriend, saying that it's simply not the right time for the two to be in a relationship. She noted that the two are still friends and maintain contact on a daily basis.

"What's fantastic about everything is that we're adults and we understand maybe it's not the right time for us, but we do love each other," Milian said. "Eventually, who knows. There might be a right time. This might be just it. At the end of the day, we're still here. We talk to each other still every day."

Milian was also asked about what being in relationship with Lil Wayne was like. She explained that many would be surprised by how Wayne is outside of the public limelight.

“He’s a sweetheart. There’s sides to him that I don’t think anybody knows. He’s just a really, really nice guy. When the two of us are in the right place, we are adventurous, we try new things. I think that’s one of the most exciting things about relationships, is being spontaneous.”

Despite the break-up, Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have maintained their musical relationship. Not long after their split, the two's collaborative track "Do It" was released.
