Kodak Black, an 18-year-old rising MC from Florida, has been arrested for assault, robbery, kidnapping, driving with a suspended license and possession of weed. According to DJ Akademiks, the young upstart was pulled over by officers on suspicion of robbery and assault. Authorities later found weed on him and discovered Black was driving with a suspended license. The "No Flockin" rapper is still in jail awaiting arraignment.

"Kodak Black has been arrested. And he’s been arrested for finessing," said DJ Akademiks in a video describing the arrest. "There’s a bunch of charges on his docket…He’s currently sitting in jail. And this is the important part, without bail until he gets arraigned and he sees a magistrate judge. Now apparently, police caught him riding dirty. So, he had some weed on him. He did not have a gun, which is good…They found him with weed. And they found that he was driving on a suspended license…He robbed or finessed an adult and a child…Basically, the police are saying he robbed and kidnapped an adult and a child.”

Despite having legal troubles at the moment, Kodak has managed to drop the visual for his track "SKRT."  He was picking up momentum in Florida plus attracting major label attention."SKRT" debuted on Drake's OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1 and with the help of Unkle Luc, now has an accompanying visual. Check out the clip below. Prior to his arrest, Kodak Black spoke with Pigeons And Planes about wanting to avoid jail.

“Of course. I ain’t even gotta speak about that. That’s just common sense, you know,” he said in September. “I’m just outchea, you know? So sometimes the law don’t like that. But it’s not like, ‘Oh I wanna go to jail, lemme go to jail.’ I just be outchea and when you outchea, that’s what come with it.”
