Kendrick Lamar has revealed the dates for his upcoming Kunta's Groove Sessions Tour which he announced earlier in the week. K. Dot will be hitting up nine locations for the intimate jaunt starting off in the nation's capital Washington D.C. on Oct. 20 at the Kennedy Center. Lamar will perform cuts from his To Pimp a Butterfly album at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra as the backing band. From there he will hit up locations in New York, Ohio, Illinois, Atlanta, Texas and California. All the shows will take place at mid-sized venues to maximize the setting.

Lamar will be bringing his band, the Wesley Theory, along for the ride as well as labelmate Jay Rock who will open up the tour on selected dates. Rock recently releases his latest album 90059 last month which was spearheaded by tracks like “Money Trees Deuce,” “Gumbo” and the Black Hippy posse cut “Vice City.” Since this is labeled as the "1st Annual" event of it's kind, it is safe to assume Lamar and the Top Dawg Entertainment team will be having this tour once a year.
