Last night (Aug. 31) before the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants 5-4 in 14 innings and widening their NL West lead to 4 1/2 games, T-Pain sang a beautiful rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner." It wasn't Whitney Houston Super Bowl XXV in 1991 good, but it was still damn great. Just incase hip-hop heads needed more proof that Teddy P doesn't need autotune to show off his musical chops, he proves again just how talented he is. Last year Pain took part in NPR's Tiny Desk series and performed for some of his biggest hits such as "Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin')," "Up Down (Do This All Day)" and "Drankin' Patna" without autotune. The performance was a great success.

In additional news, T-Pain forthcoming fifth studio album Stoicville: the Phoenix will drop in November. His new single “Make That Sh*t Work” featuring Juicy J is out now. If you haven't seen the hilarious video for the single, check it out here. T-Pain stopped by XXL to play new music off his forthcoming album Stoicville: The Phoenix and speak about his four-year absence from the music industry, his upcoming project and his acting career.

"I wasn't really looking for anything, man," Nappy Boy Records CEO said. "I kind of just go in and look within myself and see if anything that's humming at the time works. There's some shit that I've made where it was just through humming, but it's all harmonies, drums and beat-boxing because if I would've tried to lay the beat out I would've lost it. So I just went in and [cut] anything that inspired me at the time. I really had no certain sound that I was looking for."

Watch T-Pain sing the National Anthem above.
