Marvel continues to cater to hip-hop heads by releasing dope rap-related alternate covers for some of their most well now franchises. The comic book publisher recently added three more to their collection with hip-hop covers related to albums from Kendrick Lamar, Raekwon and Kool Keith.

K. Dot's To Pimp A Butterfly cover was mixed with The Guardian's of Infinite #1 by artist Marco Rudy. Mahmud Asrar used The Totally Awesome #1 Hulk to make a cover for Chef's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Venom is transposed into the cover for Kool Keith's 1999 album Black Elvis/Lost in Space on the third cover drawn by Mike Choi .

Marvel has kept a steady flow of these rap/superhero mashups. In August they released another batch. Artist Adam Hughes remixed, N.W.A’s Straight Outta Compton for A-Force #1, while Annie Wu takes Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday for Angela: Queen of Hel #1. Humberto Ramos inserts Spider-Gwen into Slick Rick’s The Great Adventures of Slick Rick and Ed Piskor pays homage to Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s The Message for New Avengers #1.

Previous releases include, the Squadron Supreme series and The Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, an Ant Man rendition of The Notorious B.I.G.’s classic Ready to Die and a Spider-Man/Deadpool variant of Eric B. & Rakim’s 1987 debut album, Paid In Full.

Run The Jewels has also gotten the comic book treatment with a Deadpool alternate.
