Lil Wayne is ordered by the court to pay $2 million to a private jet company for unpaid utility bills. Wayne lost a lawsuit issued by Signature Group, a company that leases private jets to the wealthy. TMZ reports that Signature Group sued Wayne for not paying fees during the first two years of a three year deal with the company. Wayne reportedly had more that $1 million on his tab as of July 2014. The YMCMB rapper claimed he never signed a contract with Signature Group. The court ruled in favor of Signature. The amount of fees owed by Wayne grew from $1 million to $1.8 million plus $200,000 in attorney's fees.

In August 2014, Wayne was issued a lawsuit by the Signature Group for not paying back the rental fees for his airplanes travel. According to the Courthouse News Service, the Signature Group sued Wayne and Young Money in Miami-Dade County Court. “As with many such artists, Mr. Carter appears to enjoy the finer things in life: expensive cars, a mansion in La Gorce Country Club on Miami Beach, and private aircraft travel for himself, his agents, and members of his entourage, to worldwide destinations of his choice,” the complaint states in a excerpt from the 14-page lawsuit.

This isn't Weezy's first private jet issue. In July, Wayne was removed off a private jet because he started smoking weed on the plane after the pilot informed the Young Money CEO that he couldn’t. However, minutes after the jet took off at a Ft. Lauderdale airport, the rapper lit up a joint. The captain turned the plane around 17 minutes after takeoff and landed it where it came from.
