At first, it just seemed like the herb talking, but Kanye West appears to be so sincere about running for the office of President of the United States during the 2020 elections. He recently affirmed his plans during his performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday (Sept. 18). While performing his Paul McCartney collaboration "Only One," Kanye remixed the words referencing his planned bid for the White House in 2020. "You'll be the man I always knew you could be, 2020," Ye sang in auto-tune to the delight of the crowd who gave up a huge applause.

West shocked the world when he announced his plan to be the Commander In Chief, after next, during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. West has lots of support from random fans who have been making all kinds of campaign trail merch and promo. There's even a campaign video and a website dedicated to his upcoming run. Even famous people like Ice Cube, Chelsea Clinton and Donald Trump have given support to West's aspirations to be Potus, though we doubt his is really that hype about the latter.

Speaking of announcements, the rap super star recently unveiled his new Yeezy Season collection at the Yeezy Season 2 fashion show in New York City at the Skyline Modern facility. He also announced the release date for the Yeezy Season 1 line will be Oct. 29.
