Every Collaboration Ever Between Future and Drake

Yesterday, a rumor sent the internet into a frenzy when a few people began tweeting and Instagramming about the possibility of a collaborative mixtape between Future and Drake. A couple well-connected people like DJ Skee and former Dreamchasers Records MC Louie V Gutta both tweeted that the project was imminent; one OVO fan account appeared to catch OB O'Brien posting the news on Instagram; and Datpiff even posted a countdown to a tape they called OVOFBG (Drake's October's Very Own combined with Future's Freeband Gang), which has since been deleted.

There are plenty of reasons to believe that the rumors are more than just idle speculation; the dope cover art, with the OVO owl dripping with the purple liquid that covers the artwork for Future's recent DS2, seemed like a solid clue, while the two MCs are known to be good friends, with a slew of collaborations and a couple successful joint tours under their belts already. It shouldn't even come as that much of a surprise; the ATLien has been talking about the possibility of a full album with Future and Drake for almost three years now. And with Future telling fans at Made In America in Philadelphia last weekend that he was coming out with another album before the end of the year, fans have been connecting the dots.

But will the project actually drop? It's unclear; the rumored release date of midnight last night has come and gone and reps for both rappers have not responded to requests for comment. But luckily for us, Future and Drake have recorded enough songs together over the past four years that, taken together, they've already got a mini-mixtape for the fans.
