Another one almost bit the dust. Chief Keef's latest attempt to have his hologram seen before the masses was almost foiled once again. As previously reported, Sosa was planning for the umpteenth time to have a hologram concert, this time in Los Angeles, to celebrate the release of his new project Bang 3. But according to Billboard, the show, which was scheduled to go down yesterday, had to be moved because one of Keef's producers was hurt during preparations for the show at Fonda Theater, and the venue decided to cancel the event.

Needless to say, Keef and his people were upset about the last minute stoppage. “AEG and the Fonda Theater have continued the shameful cycle of blaming hip-hop and the artistic expression of urban youth for their own corporate malfeasance,” Alki David, CEO of FilmOn and Hologram USA told Billboard. “This follows on the Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s attempts to silence Keef and scapegoat him for his city’s complete inability to solve the war-zone like crisis on the South Side, and on the Madison Square Garden Company’s bumbling attempt to back out of a tri-city peace concert to benefit the family of a murdered baby.”

AEG and Fonda Theater are disputing David's claims of the blame game offering their own statement about the cancellation. “We strongly dispute the allegations made by Chief Keef’s associates of the events leading to the legal cancellation of his show. After a walk through at the venue with Chief Keef’s production team, based on strong concerns for the safety of our employees and the public, we exercised our contractual right and canceled the show. Subsequently, they filed a police report and therefore no further comment can be made."

Either way, the show appeared to go on, just not inside the Fonda. It seems the event was moved outside to nearby parking lot where it proceeded.
