Fetty Wap posted a video to Instagram last night (Sept. 29) to update fans on his condition following his motorcycle accident. He thanked his fans for their support and said he broke his leg in three places. "Appreciate Ya so much for the prayers … they told me don't make a video but I'm still breathing so I gotta let ya no I'll be back," he wrote in the caption.

The 2015 XXL Freshman was involved in a motorcycle accident in his hometown, Patterson, N.J. Fetty was hit by a car while he was driving his motorcycle. Witnesses said he was attempting to pass a car and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The "My Way" crooner was responsive and rushed to the local hospital. Later on in the day Fetty Wap's DJ, Louie Styles, tweeted a photo of Fetty while they were in the hospital, in which he is sitting upright with his leg in a brace. Reps for Fetty released a statement later that night.

To add insult to injury, it was reported that Fetty Wap was issued three summonses following his motorcycle crash. Fetty was cited for "driving without a license, not having insurance, and failing to produce a vehicle registration card," according to Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale. The accident comes a day after the young upstart released his debut self-titled album and a month after he received the key to Paterson.

Get well soon Fetty!
