Wow, talk about adding insult to injury. After being involved in motorcycle accident yesterday where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle, New Jersey rap crooner Fetty Wap has been hit with three citations by the Paterson Police Dept. According to he Associated Press, Wap, born, Willie Maxwell, received three summonses for driving without a license, not having insurance and failing to produce a vehicle registration card.

As previously reported, the "My Way" singer was riding his bike through his hometown of Paterson when witnesses say he attempted to pass a vehicle and was hit by an oncoming car. He was knocked to the ground, lying on the pavement for minutes before an ambulance arrived. The driver of the vehicle who struck the 1738 spokesman was also injured.

Fetty was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for a fracture to his leg and other undisclosed minor injuries. Last night, his representatives released the following statement: "Fetty Wap was involved in a motorcycle incident earlier today. He was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition. His family wants to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support. They ask that you respect their privacy during this time. We will provide an update on his condition as it becomes available."

Fetty Wap's debut self-titled album hit stores last week powered by the hits "My Way," "Trap Queen," "Again" and "679." We hope Fetty has a speedy recovery and a good lawyer.
