With less than a month away, this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards nominees are out. For a second year in a row Drake leads the nominations list, this time getting 12 nods for the 10th annual awards show. Last year Drake had eight nominations. Drake released his platinum-selling mixtape/album If You're Reading This It's Too Late earlier this year and had 14 songs simultaneously placed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, tying a record set by The Beatles in 1964. Big Sean earned 10 nominations and Nicki Minaj scored nine nods. Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole each got eight nominations. 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards tapes on Oct. 9 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center and airs Oct. 13. Snoop Dogg will once again be the host of the show.
