A summer without a new Dom Kennedy project didn't seem right but in the 25th hour, the Cali native came through and dropped a surprise mixtape for his legion of fans. Released in conjunction with the L.A. Dom dropped his third studio album, By Dom Kennedy, dropped back in June and was the follow up to 2013's standout, Get Home Safely. The album came in at N0. 23 on the Billboard 200 and sold 9,000 copies in its first week. The eleven-track effort featured production from Jake One and only one feature, Bonic from Philly's Most Wanted.
