Macklemore Performs “Downtown” at the 2015 MTV Video Music Award

Macklemore performed his new single "Downtown" at the MTV Video Music Awards. With the help of Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz, Melle Mel and Eric Nally, Macklemore recreates the colorful visuals for the VMAs. The former XXL Freshman takes over the streets of downtown L.A. for the performance. This one is in the same vein as “Thrift Shop” and drastically different from the recent “Growing Up” and will certainly get a ton of radio play. Mack isn't nominated for any VMA award this year but he certainly will be next year.
