Mac Miller surprised the rap world yesterday (Aug. 6) when he popped up on Hot 97 and gave a Sept. 18 release date for his Warner debut, GO:OD AM album. At midnight last night, Miller dropped the video for his single, "100 Grandkids," an tapped Nick Walker for the director's chair. The video features a theatrical performance by a group of elementary school kids, a play on Diddy's "Bad Boy For Life" and Mac performing in front of a low-rider. Walker is responsible for Beyonce and Nicki Minaj's "Feeling Myself" video and with Mac as his latest subject, Walker adds another strong visual to his belt and clearly isn't afraid to go off-the-wall with his concepts and vision. Mac's GO:OD AM album is easily one of the more anticipated projects of the year and adds to the growing list of high-profile acts releasing full-length LPs this year. Check out the vid above.
