Update 9/5/2015 4:05 p.m. Jay Rock recently announced via Twitter his new album will hit the streets on September 11.

Sept. 4 is shaping up to be a big release day. Along with Travi$ Scott's Rodeo album, Jay Rock could finally drop his sophomore album, 90059. According to Best Buy's presale page, the project is slated for a Sept. 4 release. Last week, TDE CEO and founder Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith announced that he would base the release of Rock's album upon the amount of fan support the rapper received. In an Instagram post, Tiffith wrote, "You guys are really in charge of this new Jay Rock Release. I have realistic goals for #90059 and its preorder. As you/we hit each goal with the purchase of the preorder, the release date will automatically move itself up. Keep in mind that we can hit it in one day if we really wanted to. Lets make it happen. #TDE" Based on the quick turnaround, we have to assume the preorder numbers are looking solid.
