Are Future and Zaytoven Cooking Up ‘Beast Mode 2?’
Future is riding the wave like the Silver Surfer off the release of his latest LP Dirty Sprite 2. Could we get another project from the codeine cowboy soon? Frequent collaborator Zaytoven recently posted a picture of him and super Future along with a caption that might imply so. "Zaytoven vs @future #ds2 #beastmode #webackcooking," the "So Icey" producer typed under the photo.
This can only mean good things. Future's January mixtape, Beast Mode was the second in the trilogy of mixtapes which set the stage for the hype that eventually surrounded Dirty Sprite 2. Zay was at the helm of that entire tape producing every song including the standout "Real Sisters." That project was followed by 56 Nights in March.
DS2 dropped in July to much fanfare and eventually reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week out, earning the astronaut kid his first No. 1 album.
Following the release of Beast Mode, Zay put out two more collab mixtapes with artists including the OGZAY mixtape with 2015 XXL Freshman OG Maco and Juggathon with Black Migo Gang rapper Young Scooter.
We're hoping this Beast Mode 2 thing is true because we need a "Real Sisters (Remix)" featuring Marcus Houston, ASAP. Those that know, know.
