Jeremih's birthday turn up ended with him cooling his heels in a jail cell, yesterday (July 17). He was arrested early Friday morning and charged with driving under the influence in California. The R&B singer was pulled over by Golden State highway patrol around 2:15 a.m., according to TMZ. After officers noticed something was awry, they arrested the "Don't Tell Em" crooner and charged him on misdemeanor DUI. His bail was set at $15,000 and he was released several hours later around 11:00 a.m.. He should have just hit up that Uber.

The Chicago native has had a few run-ins with the law in the last year. Back in December he was arrested for sneaking onto an airplane. He was charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct. Last November, he and his entourage were accused of trashing a Fuddruckers in Billings, Montana. Jeremih claimed the establishment was racist so he and his people started messing stuff up causing over $700 in damage. Video later surfaced of the incident which shows the group going ham in the burger joint, harassing and what looks like tossing a drink onto a female employee before quickly leaving.

The singer has been keeping his nose clean in 2015 as he prepares for his latest release which is spearheaded by the hit single "Don't Tell Em" and the J Cole collaboration, "Planes." Jeremih's new album Late Nights: The Album was tentatively scheduled to drop yesterday, on the singer's birthday, but has apparently been pushed back to a later date.
