Less than a month after explaining himself for a rape lyric that surfaced in a leaked song, Rich Homie Quan is on the defense again as a bootlegged song has surfaced with yet another line about the despicable act. On "Day 1," Rich Homie is much more direct than he was on "I Made It." Using "rape" directly in the chorus, the former Rich Gang member repeats the word repeatedly, rapping: "Chances ain't shit if you don't take one/Mansion full of bitches bout to rape one/I been eating money like a tapeworm/I been getting money since day one."

XXL has reached out to Rich Homie Quan regarding the lyric but has not gotten a response as of press time.

After the "I Made It" debacle, Quan issued the following statement: “I Made It’ was never intended to be released. The song was not lyrically what I wanted to say and was not completed. Without my knowledge, there was a studio leak of the recording. I apologize that it’s out; and I have asked my lawyer to pursue a cease and desist on the song immediately. To be clear, I would never condone rape.”

Rich Homie Quan finds himself in a potentially damning situation. Rappers have had a checkered history when it comes to rape lyrics and one has to look no further than Rick Ross who lost his Reebok deal after his date rape lyric on Rocko's 2013 song "U.O.E.N.O."
