Meek Mill was in Philadelphia yesterday (June 9) filming the video to his latest song "Check" and a rather unfortunate incident happened. While working, things quickly took a turn for the worst when a man was pistol-whipped at the video set.

The MMG signee was filming when rival rapper and former DreamChasers MC Louie V Gutta and his crew showed up. In the video above obtained by TMZ, things escalated with one bystander saying, "They're about to fight." As people start pushing one another, a man standing behind V gets pistol-whipped. Soon after, the crowd scatters and people start screaming as they run away. No shots were fired at the scene, thankfully. Police were called but did not make any arrests. Louie V later got on Instagram to say that he nor Meek Mill were involved in the skirmish.

"Check" is a single off Meek's forthcoming project, Dreams Worth More Than Money. The banger was proceeded by "B-Boy" and "Monster." While performing at Summer Jam on Sunday (June 7), the Philly native shared that his sophomore LP will be dropping this month.

Meek also just collaborated with Nigerian Afropop singer Davido for his track, "Fans Mi." The cross of two cultures makes for a very dope song. The two rappers are bossed up in the video, turning up in Davido's mansion with girls, money, pots, and a plethora of toys. Is Nigeria the new goldmine of music? During Jay Z's Tidal defense on Twitter in April, Hov mentioned that his cousin relocated to Nigeria to scout new talent, which may include Nigerian MC Ice Prince.
