After recently dropping the new single "100" featuring Drake, The Game is opening up about what's to come in his upcoming LP The Documentary 2. Chuck recently sat down for an interview with North Carolina’s Power 98, during the 2015 BET Awards, and said he is looking to drop the album before the summer ends, and also revealed the beat makers who had a hand in molding the score. "The next album is coming in August," said Game, "It's gonna be a classic. Shout out to all the producers who helped me with it: Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, Alchemist, DJ Premier [and] Scott Storch.”

Game will have some big shoes to fill, naming this album after his critically acclaimed solo debut. The Documentary dropped in January 2005 on Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit Records and Interscope Records. Spearheaded by the singles "Westside Story" "How We D" featuring 50 Cent and "Hate It or Love It," the album went on to sell five million copies worldwide and propel Jayceon into rap stardom. The first album featured A-list production as well with beats from Dr Dre, Just Blaze, Cool & Dre, Timbaland, Hi-Tek, Havoc and Kanye West.

The new album has suffered from a couple of delays as it was initially slated to drop Jan. 18 and later pushed back to June. August now looks to be the target date. Back in January, Game commemorated the 10-year anniversary of his debut album with a huge concert in Los Angeles. Taking place at The Belasco, Chuck performed the album in its entirety even bring out Dr Dre to perform "Running."
