Bishop Nehru is not content being one of the most talked-about MCs in his age bracket. Rather than rest on his laurels after his collaboration with the elusive MF DOOM (last year's NehruvianDOOM), the precocious New Yorker instead struck out on an international tour. Now, he's back, with his latest solo offering: the eight-song Nehruvia: The Nehruvian EP. Bishop is a formalist, never straying far from the staid boom-bap on which he undoubtedly grew up. And yet his outlook is decidedly teenaged--see "[justfriends]ZONE," where he laments his inability to get a girl to whom he's attracted to see him as a romantic prospect. Nehruvia is nothing we haven't heard before, but Bishop aims to beam it into a the streaming apps of a new generation of listeners. Bishop also confirm that Nas will be on his debut album with Billboard.

Originally rapping under a host of other pseudonyms, Nehru slinked onto radars in 2012 with the release of his debut mixtape, Nehruvia. Not to be confused with this EP, that 13-track effort saw the youngster rapping over a bevy of classic beats from the genre's most legendary producers; it would be followed by another tape, strictlyFLOWz. The latter was released with help from Peter Rosenberg and DJ Semtex, and the rest, as they say, is history. A deal with Mass Appeal would follow shortly thereafter.

In addition to the EP, Nehru is dropping the video for "User$." Check it out below:
