Well this is awkward. The majority of Kanye West's performance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was censored and fans are not happy.

When Kanye finally got on stage to close out the show, viewers couldn't hear chunks of his performance of his new single "All Day" and "Black Skinhead (Blkkk SkkkN Head)" off of his last album Yeezus. 'Ye's sisters-in-law, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner were booed while introducing him before he kicked off his set. Surrounded by flames—sort of like his performance at The BRITs this year but with way less people—along with Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London, Yeezy started with "All Day." He then transitioned to "Black Skinhead."

TMZ reports

Kanye West's camp issued a statement regarding his performance at the Billboard Music Awards. In the statement it says that the 'Ye's performance was censored and also issued an apology to his fans. Read it below:

Kanye West was grossly over-censored at the Billboard Music Awards.  Non-profane lyrics such as “with my leather black jeans on” were muted for over 30 second intervals. As a result, his voice and performance were seriously misrepresented. It is ridiculous that in 2015, unwarranted censorship is something that artists still have to fight against. Although West was clearly set up to face elements beyond his control during the live broadcast, he would like to apologize to the television audience who were unable to enjoy the performance the way he envisioned.
