If your Memorial Day plans don't involve listening to copious amounts of Dipset, you are legally required to show up to work on Monday. Thankfully, Jim Jones is here to save us all, by way of a new mixtape called Miami Vampin. Meant to promote his new clothing line, Vamp Life, this is a mixtape in the traditional sense, where solo songs commingle with efforts from relative unknowns like Ball Greezy, YD and Zoey Dollaz.

Though Jones has long been a fixture in New York and national rap conversations, his solo catalog has gone curiously overlooked. His first solo effort, On My Way to Church, was released in 2004, between the first and second installments of Dipset's Diplomatic Immunity series. That album featured an early appearance from The Game, then still affiliated with G-Unit, on the single "Certified Gangstas." He has released six solo albums to date, the most recent being 2011's Capo. Jones' most successful singles are 2006's "We Fly High" and 2009's "Pop Champagne," the latter featuring Ron Browz and Dipset cohort Juelz Santana. He and the rest of the crew have embarked on a reunion tour, which is expected to culminate in a mixtape of new material.
