Back in 2012, Waka Flocka Flame sent out a tweet that simply read, "I'm dead ass running for president in 2016." With election season starting to kick off and candidates throwing their hats into the ring, Flocka has made good on his word and signed the necessary documents to run for President of the United States in 2016.

Bringing on DJ Whoo Kid as his running mate, Waka made the announcement during an interview with Rolling Stone just hours before tearing down New York City's Webster Hall last night. The turn up god has some agreeable policies that he would impose immediately if elected. First, he would legalize marijuana. After that, he would disallow dogs to enter restaurants and ban people with shoe sizes over 13 from walking on the street and only allow them to take public transportation. He would also make education reforms including making every student in the system learn his lyrics. Finally, President Waka would raise minimum wage to at least $15. Sounds good to us.

Waka would have some pretty stiff competition running against the likes of Hilary Clinton, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul but the rapper seems confident. We can't wait to hear his speeches on the campaign trail and can only speculate on how many presidential themed mixtapes he will drop between now and 2016.
