Post Malone recently sat down with Dash Radio for his first interview ever. Ever since "White Iverson" dropped back in February, the Dallas rapper/singer has been gaining notoriety. According to the young upstart rapper, he never expected the track to blow up the way that it did.

"When I wrote it, I didn't know that people [were] gonna fuck with it as much as I did," said Post. "I didn't plan on releasing it any time soon either, but it leaked somewhere and we just said fuck it and recorded it."

He talks about meeting the production duo FKi and how that led to "White Iverson." Since its release, "White Iverson" has reached over 2 million views on Soundcloud and a major club banger. Like many other musicians, success did not come over night for the Southern MC. At the age of 18, he moved to Los Angeles to pursues he dreams of making music. He was blessed to have the support of his family as he made the life-changing decision that has paid off so far.

As the 23-minute interview goes on, Malone goes into more detail about his beginnings, performing at Coachella,  meeting Drake, remaining the same as he gains success and more. He also wants NBA legend Allen Iverson to be on the remix to "White Iverson." Check it out above. The most recent song that Post has released was "Too Young," which is also produced by FKi.
