Jay Z's Manhattan 40/40 nightclub will be used for a new online talk show. Time Inc. announced that they will use 40/40 as their set for their new talk show called 40/40 Live. The host for the show will be WNBA star and Roc Nation Sports signee Skylar Diggins. 40/40 Live will be focusing on "the worlds of hip-hop and sports celebrity." The new online talk show is part if Time Inc.'s plan for original video content, which includes planned programming that covers a wide range of topics from sports to reality to pop culture. The show will be co-produced by Jay Z's media group Life+Times and it will "provide a fresh and unfiltered conversation around sports, fame, music."The initiative will create content for the group's sites, as well as for syndication by Amazon and CBS.

The MCHG spitta recently made the announcement of a special concert. Hov will perform nothing but his B-sides and deep cuts exclusively to Tidal users only. The show, which will be held at an undisclosed New York City location on May 13 and streamed on www.tidal.com, will be available to Tidal members who create, name and share a Tidal playlist on Twitter using the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ.

It was also announced that the streaming service will have a new discovery section that aims to help unsigned artists spread their music. Tidal plans to include a "new talent" section in monthly playlists. The section will also be promoted alongside Tidal exclusives. They teamed with digital distributors Phonofile and Record Union so the company can make it easier for unsigned artists to upload their music and manage royalties without the help of a third party.

Just a few days after going on a rare Twitter rant defending Tidal‘s business model and the service’s future plans.
