Fox's Empire has been a runaway hit for the network, setting a series of records for its increasingly strong ratings. Its depiction of the rap industry has made it especially potent among hip-hop fans; artists like Charles Hamilton have even taken to Empire and its Timbaland-helmed music department as a means of promotion. But one of the producers has his sights set even higher. Brian Grazer took to Good Morning America today (April 7) to promote his new book, A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life. But he also revealed a pipe dream, which is to land a certain rapper for Empire with whom he was worked before. “Eminem, I know, loves our show," said Grazer, who produced 8 Mile. "I’m going to beg him to get on our show. He and Oprah Winfrey. Somehow I’m going to get one or both them on our show,” the producer said.

Grazer has also had a hand in bringing shows like 24, Arrested Development, Friday Night Lights and others to the public. Eminem, despite his limited acting resume, has long been rumored to be attached to projects, like the forthcoming boxing drama Southpaw. He has made a series of cameos, including bit parts in contemporary comedies like The Interview and Funny People.
