The 2015 edition of Drake's OVO Fest will be privately funded after receiving no money from the Canadian Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport. Last year, the event was given $300,000 in provincial government funding to put on the popular festival. Celebrate Ontario released its 2015 events list and how much money each received and OVO Fest was nowhere to be found. According to Celebrate Ontario the grants given out are meant to, "“enhance programs, activities and services that will lead to long-term improvements. This support helps grow tourism in the province by making it easier for festival and event organizers to offer new and improved experiences that will attract more tourists and increase visitor spending.”

This year's event, which features a Kevin Hart comedy show and a two day concert featuring J. Cole, Big Sean, Jermih, YG and more will be paid for out of pocket either by Drake, Cash Money, a private investor or some sort of combination of the three. Unfortunately, this may mean that ticket prices will go up as well. Drake certainly has pockets deep enough to contribute to the cause. According to Forbes, Drake is worth around $30 million.

Along with OVO Fest, Drake will also headline Coachella this weekend and perform at Governor's Ball and London's Wireless Festival.
