Since its inception, South by Southwest, abbreviated to SXSW, has always been about showcasing what’s next. It’s a mix of established names, mid-league players and local favorites. The talent is endless and the show possibilities are limitless. A simultaneous music, film and interactive tech conference, held each spring in Austin, TX, SXSW has been responsible for popularizing Twitter, debuting blockbuster films and launching the careers of hungry artists. This year’s music portion of SXSW will take over the streets of Austin from March 17 to March 22.
