It wasn't always high-budgets and dinners at the Polo lounge for Drake. While he was still in his Degrassi days, Drake and his friends filmed a super corny clip called Us & Them that was uncovered by FADER. Featuring his Degrassi co-star Mazin Elsadig and future OVO artist OB O'Brien, early music from Drizzy, a Blackberry with the side scroll, finger guns, bad acting, and even Drizzy's grandmother, no one could have guessed that Drake would take over the hip-hop world less than a decade later. The 2008 video certainly doesn't have the production quality of his more recent short-film, Jungle, but it's a fun look back at Drake's roots and pop culture as a whole.  By Any Means Necessary (BAMN), the video group co-founded by Elsadig, went on to shoot the visuals for Drake's "Marvin's Room," "Headlines" and "Motto" so Us & Them was just the foundation for future success.

A year after Us & Them was shot, Drake went on to drop So Far Gone.... and the rest is history. Six years after the fact, the Canadian MC landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 for the fourth time with his recent project, If You're Reading This, It's Too Late. With over 500,000 records and counting of If You're Reading This, It's Too Late sold and his album Views From The 6 still on the way, Drake is just getting warmed up in 2015.
