Trouble may be on the horizon in the Carter-Knowles household. According to The National Enquirer, Jay Z is avoiding a DNA test that could prove he is the father of 21-year-old aspiring rapper Rymir Satterthwaite (seen in the video above). The report says that Satterthwaite's mother, Wanda, slept with Hov in the '90s and Satterthwaite filed a civil lawsuit through his guardian, paralegal Lillie Coley, against Jay Z in December of 2014.

The history of the case dates back to 2010 when Satterthwaite's mother allegedly tried and failed to get Jay Z to submit to a DNA test. A New Jersey family court judge dismissed the case because his court lacked jurisdiction over Jay Z. Coley claims that the rapper provided "false" and "fraudulent" address information that placed his residency in New York and not in New Jersey to get the case thrown out. According to the report, Jay and his lawyer gave the court the address to his Manhattan office and not to one of his reported New Jersey homes. The current civil suit

"Right now I can't talk about it," Satterthwaite's godmother told the New York Daily News. "We plan to go the public soon...All this attention caught us off guard. We didn't expect someone to leak it to the press. We weren't expecting this."

According to the Daily Mail, representatives for the rapper said there was 'no truth to these ridiculous rumors.'

This is not the first time Jay Z's name has been attached to a paternity suit. In 2011, rumors circulated that Jay Z fathered a son with Trinidadian model Shenelle Scott.

Keep in mind that The National Enquirer has a questionable reputation as a tabloid and gossip magazine. But, the publication did break the story about former North Carolina Senator John Edwards' mistress and love child in 2008 and nearly won a Pulitzer for the reporting.
