New England Patriots Owner Dances With Rick Ross

As Al Davis so famously decreed: Just win, baby. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft seems to subscriber to this maxim; after his team took home the Super Bowl in a down-to-the-wire win over the Seattle Seahawks last night (Feb. 1) in Arizona, he cut loose a bit--by dancing with Rick Ross. That's right, the 71-year-old magnate dusted off a few moves to the sounds of Ross and Meek Mill's "I'm A Boss." Neither Miami nor Philadelphia is exactly in New England, but for 30 impossibly uncomfortable seconds, none of that matters. Kraft might as well have thrown the cardboard on the floor and gotten his Krazy Legs on. He has the ring. He's flossing.

In an industry that shows time and time again that it's deep in financial decline, Rick Ross remains a bankable commodity. Def Jam relies so heavily on his first-week sales numbers that they rushed out a second LP, Hood Billionaire, after March's Mastermind. Ross is nominated for three Grammys: Both Luke James' "Options" and Chris Brown's "New Flame" feature Ross and are nominated for Best R&B song; the latter is also nominated for Best R&B performance. For those keeping score at home, that means that while Ross is nominated three times, he can win no more than two Grammys this year. Those awards will be held this coming Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
