New Yorkers love letting you know where they're from. And with the 2015 NBA All-Star Game being held in NYC for the first time in 17 years, it's only right that a few talented native New Yorkers kicked off the pre-game performances in Madison Square Garden Sunday Night.

Christina Aguilera, a Staten Island native, opened the show with a medley of Big Apple-themed favorites like "On Broadway" and Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York." Xtina then introduced "New York's finest," Brooklyn-born and Queens-bred MC, Nas.

Nasty Nas joined the pop-star onstage to major fanfare and delivered a quick, crisp rendition of his Illmatic-classic “N.Y. State of Mind.” Jay Z's "Empire State Of Mind" intro then started playing, before The Rockettes hit the stage to accompany Christina's soaring vocals.
