Last night (Feb. 11), Mick Jenkins, Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Pro Era, Saba, Chelsea Reject and Noname Gypsy took the stage at a sold out show at SOBs in New York City. Cinematic World Wide partnered with Mick Jenkins and Kirk Knight for their first heading joint tour. The scene was electric. A crowd filled with millennials dressed in outfits straight out of an episode of A Different World packed the venue from wall to wall. Everyone was feeding off each other's energy. It wasn't a daunting mob, but rather a comforting congregation who just wanted to see if the hype about the Southside Chicago native was real.

The first act was Chelsea Reject, who's spoken word-like delivery shined on stage. Next was a dope performance by Noame Gypsy, a up-and-coming MC who's been featured on a few Chance The Rapper and Jenkin's projects plus has a couple loosies of her own. Saba was the next performer, showcasing amazing stage presence. His energy and eccentric personality liven up the crowd, setting up the stage for Pro Era's spitta Kirk perfectly.

The Flatbush native performed hits like "Extortion." When he tried three times to perform his new song "Brokeland," which he dropped a couple days ago, he stumbled each time. "I'm fucking up, let me just bring my brother out her," said Knight. Out came Joey Bada$$ with all of Pro Era behind him. He performed "My Young Niggaz" then transitioned to "Big Dusty" off his stellar debut album B4.Da.$$. At this point the crowd was going nuts, chanting out Pro Era and R.I.P. Capital STEEZ.
