A first week hip-hop album returns to the charts after a week absence as Kid Ink charts at No. 14 with his Full Speed album. Ink's third album clocks in with 38,523 albums and streams. The chart position is a bit of a disappointment considering that his last album, My Own Lane, debuted at No.3 on the Billboard 200. Full Speed is loaded with big name features like Dej Loaf, Migos, Young Thug, Usher, R. Kelly and Chris Brown. Kid Ink and Dej Loaf will be hitting the road together this spring for the Scream Tour.

Elsewhere on the charts, Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint inches closer to Gold status after selling another 48,000 copies this week, good enough for No. 8 on Billboard's chart. J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive dropped from No. 14 to No.17; Rae Sremmurd's SremmLife checked in at No. 42 with 9, 249 albums sold; and Joey Bada$$' B4.Da.$$ Lupe Fiasco's Tetsuo & Youth both dropped out of the Top 50. TeeFlii's Starr dropped this week but failed to crack the Top 50.

All in all it was a disappointing week in hip-hop album sales. Looking ahead, Big Sean is likely the next big artist to keep an eye on as he preps to drop Dark Sky Paradise.

8. Nicki Minaj, The Pinkprint, 48,000
14. Kid Ink, Full Speed, 38,523
17. J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, 25,961
42. Rae Sremmurd, SremmLife, 9,249

*The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on mulit-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums.
