Kanye West had a quick cameo in a special Wayne’s World skit during Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary show last night (Feb. 15). Mike Myers and Dana Carvey became Wayne and Garth again for SNL40. In the skit, the two characters counted down the "top 10 things about SNL." Number 10 was "SNL is a live show," which prompted the presenters to discuss how even though the name of show is Saturday Night Live, people are still confused about the details of the show. "Every week someone asks me when do you tape the show. It's Saturday Night Live people, duh." said Garth.

“We have to remind everybody that this show is actually live, so you have to stay in the down and locked position, and that means you too, Kanye West," Myers added. "Stay where you are, you must stay.”

Kanye West is shown on cutaway getting up from his seat and being restrained by security guards. This is a reference to his faked interruption of Beck’s acceptance speech for Album Of The Year at the Grammys. Which was similar to his interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs when she won for Best Music Video. Earlier in the show 'Ye pretended to interrupt Matt Lauer on the #SNL40 red carpet before the opener of SNL‘s broadcast. Kanye also performed his latest track “Wolves” with Sia and Vic Mensa, which was the same song previewed at his show last week. Watch the performance here.

Wayne’s World was a huge segment on comedy show before getting their own movie in 1992. Watch the skit above. The trio took a nice picture after the show to remember the moment (see below).

Party time excellent!!!!
