Kanye West and Taylor Swift may have a complicated past, but they're putting all that behind them and, according to Kanye, "definitely" heading to the studio soon to work on new music. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on iHeartRadio, Kanye revealed that Taylor approached him at this Sunday's (Feb. 8) Grammy Awards and suggested the two collaborate. "Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in the studio and work," Kanye said. "I don't discriminate."

The connection was made following what must have been a moment of deja vu for Swift. When Beck was announced as the winner for Album Of The Year for his record Morning Phase, West darted up the stairs to the podium--where he appeared to smile, think better of it, and retreat to his seat. While the Yeezus rapper gave an interview after the ceremony that cast the act in a different light, at the time it played like a good-natured riff on his interruption of Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. (In both cases, Kanye was incensed that Beyoncé had been slighted.) "I don't know exactly what the press has been, because I don't keep up with that," West said, "but when I did go up on stage and left off, there was a really good vibe about it. Everybody was laughing and smiling."

In addition to the Swift revelation, Kanye also spoke with Seacrest about his new shoes for Adidas, which are available to the public this Saturday (Feb. 14). The release will be preceded by an artistic display staged in 10 cities and streamed to 40 others worldwide.

Kanye's last album was the critically acclaimed, popularly divisive Yeezus, which incorporated elements of Chicago house and drill music, as well as elements from the electronic world. It spawned hits in "New Slaves" and "Bound 2." Swift's 2014 album, 1989, is also a departure from the singer's prior catalog, embracing glossy '80s pop in lieu of the pop-country hybrid of 2012's Red.
