Bodega Bamz trys his hand in acting in his upcoming film, The Streets Owe Me. A trailer for the movie was recently released, and from the looks of it, this is going to be a gritty movie. Joell Ortiz, Ohla and Cipha Sounds will also be making appearances in the film. Money, violence and hustle looks like the central theme of film.

Bamz is currently gearing up to drop his debut album, Sidewalk Exec, on Apr. 14 on 100 Keep It / Duck Down Music Inc. The album is entirely produced by V. Don. In the meantime, the half Dominican/half Puerto Rican rapper has put out a few tracks to keep us busy, including "Young Don" which dropped last month and "Light Work." BAMZ may just be the newest underground artist to look out for this year, as he reminds us that New York rappers still got it. After his breakout mixtape Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z., he's been steadily building his name. He spoke about his debut LP with MTV.
