Sports Illustrated Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight
Mayweather's ability to read

Yesterday (Feb. 9), Floyd posted the video below to his Instagram account. He's seen telling Manny that "before [they] leave the sport, of course,  [they] have to make this fight happen." Doesn't really sound like someone who's scared.

According to Top Rank boxing promoter Bob Arum, the delay on the fight is all on Mayweather, who is reluctant to work with Arum. Arum told the Associated Press last week that HBO, which Pacquiao is contracted to, and Showtime, which airs Mayweather’s fights, have agreed to broadcast the fight. Showtime executives, however, have denied such claim.

The two boxers have been working with one another to solidify a date for the potential fight since they attended the same Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks game last month.  “I’m thinking that the fight will happen, so hopefully.. within one week, though, we can hear from them and fix the fight," said Pacquiao while speaking to host Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. Whether or not Floyd "Money" Mayweather sees Manny Pacquiao in the ring is yet to be determined.
