YG and Nipsey Hussle took over NYC's Best Buy Theater last night (Jan. 9). The California natives spewed out their catalog of greatest hits, later brining out Yo Gotti, Troy Ave, and Young Lito. As fans sung nearly every word during the 3 hour performance, one thing was evident for sure, the East Coast is surely feeling the new West Coast.

YG and Nipsey switched on and off stage during the show. YG performed more recent fan favorites like "Who Do You Love" and "BPT" off of My Krazy Life, all the while hitting the stage with classics like "Toot It And Boot It." Nipsey Hussle, determined to give fans the exact performance they came to see, graced the stage with older tracks from his highly acclaimed Crenshaw project like "Checc Me Out," and newer cuts off of his latest project Mailbox Money.

The aura of the venue was full of admiration on both ends. At one point, YG even stopped two girls from fighting to shake their hands and make peace. Nipsey followed, stopping the show to switch songs based off the crowd's request. Nipsey and YG also came together as a united front, performing fellow Cali native O.T. Genasis' "CoCo" together.

All-in-all, 'Nip and the 400 ambassador put on a show to remember. A West Coast victory indeed, it's safe to say that the two are undeniably part of the East Coast's culture too. Going off the vibes of their stellar performance, there's a even possibility that the entire crowd left the show c-walking last night.-Miranda J.
