UPDATE: (1/18/14 11:50am)

As promised, Funkmaster Flex used more radio time to go in on Jay Z, last night. Taking to the airwaves, Flex played a number of Jigga records before lobbing more shots at the rap mogul saying, "You are a corporate commercial rapper that drops a little catch phrase every three months." After once again attempting to discredit Jay's website Life+Times, Flex went at his clout on the FM dial saying, "This radio station doesn’t need you or care."

The OG record spinner even warned Hov against retaliation. "If you ever plan on taking a shot like that at me or any sublim, I will be on this radio every day going at you," he snapped.

This could get super ugly. Hov has been mum on the whole situation but he has to speak/rap on it at some point, right?

UPDATE: (1/17/14 2:00pm)

The head-scratching beef between Funkmaster Flex and Jay Z continues as Flex takes his shots to social media. After blasting Jigga's website Life+Times with a flurry of slander and bombs a few days ago, the Hot 97 DJ added fuel to the fire by posting a picture of what is alleged to be a text form Jay, apparently trying to reach out. "This is HOV" the text plainly reads. Flex dismisses the rap mogul and warns of more radio antics on his upcoming show. "Really? After calling private for hours you texting with CAPITAL letters????? This guy thinks it 1997 ???? Tomorrow 7pm I got this???? I see you need a tune up and lesson in respect!!!!!," he posted.

Purely coincidentally, we're sure, Funk Flex is currently working on a comeback campaign with Dipset who just dropped what appears to be a Jay diss, "Victory."

Stay tuned.

"Life + Times your website is trash."

Funkmaster Flex went off on Hot 97 last night (Jan. 15) about Jay Z's website Life + Times and how shady they are. Flex repeatedly called the site trash and stating that the site steals his ideas. "A bunch of dumb big pictures and no numbers," Flex said during the onslaught. "Y'all can't move with me in this digital space." Flex said that the issue started when from Life + Times allegedly tried to steal the framework for his Funk Flex app. Flex continued on to say the site then asked him what's his involvement with the current Dipset reunion, which confused him since he was told he couldn't play Dipset records at Jay's 40/40 Club.
