DJ Mustard dominated airwaves last year with super-catchy beats and a Mustard-produced song is immediately identifiable by the now-famous, YG-slurred, "Mustard on the beat, hoe!" tag. While up at Power 105 on The Angie Martinez Show, the hit maker was asked if he had any intention to pay YG for the soundbite to which Mustard emphatically responded, "Not at all!" Mustard went on to explain, "[The tag] is a very, very, very valuable thing to my career. But at the same time, I don't charge YG what I charge everyone else...It's real brotherly love for that. So we don't complain, it's a favor for a favor."

Angie also asked Mustard about his beef with YG and he revealed that the two eventually shot the fair one over the argument. "Anytime anyone of my friends in my camp, if we argue, we gonna fight for real," said Mustard. "We gonna fight and get it over with...[Me and YG] fought and now we're good. That's how it's supposed to be."
