For someone so animated, it's a wonder Action Bronson has never been a cartoon before. Last night (Jan. 22), the Queens rapper guest starred on FXX's Lucas Bros. Moving Co., an animated series helmed by comedians Kenny and Keith Lucas. Bronson was joined on screen by The Roots' ?uestlove and series regulars Eric Andre, Jerrod Carmichael and Hannibal Buress.

In the episode, Bronson plays a territorial food truck proprietor, treating the taco game like the drug trade. He strong-arms the titular brothers into "slingin' them good burgers," just so long as the boss gets a cut. Wearing only a white robe, taco-shaped pendant and giant crown, Bronson's character isn't all that far removed from his real-life persona.

As for ?uestlove, he plays someone even more bizarre: Ja Rule. The respected patriarch of The Roots is drawn up with a gold chain, white doo-rag, and bulging muscles, just as Ja appeared in his Ashanti-assisted heyday. (The drummer took to Instagram to thank the producers of the show, whom he says he "begged" for a role.)

Action Bronson is currently busy prepping for his major label debut, Mr. Wonderful, due out Mar. 24. As always, you can catch ?uesto and the rest of the legendary Roots crew on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
