For fans and other people on the outside looking in, YMCMB seemed like a cohesive powerhouse of hard-hitting, chart-topping artists, but recent twitter rants from two of the label's prominent acts have proven there's more to the situation than meets the eye. Tyga took the first step in announcing his frustrations with Cash Money records and later revealed he would be moving forward with the release of his forthcoming album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, as an independent artist. During a recent  interview, the California native confirmed he's getting out of his deal, revealed why he felt boxed in at the label plus agreed with Lil Wayne's decision to speak out about the creative mistreatment.

“The album is done so like I’m going to put it out independently,” said Tyga during a Power 106 Cali Christmas interview. “I’m just getting out my deal right now. I feel like as an artist, at the end of the day, what we do creatively should never be imprisoned and at the end of the day we do it to bring it to the fans. It’s not a selfish thing — it’s just not fair to the fans. You’ve got millions of people who want your music and they don’t understand the behind-the-scenes of the politics.”

Media went into an extreme frenzy when Lil Wayne voiced his anger towards the label. “Everything come to the light,” Tyga added. “You gotta treat people how you wanna be treated at the end of the day.”

That wasn't the only major announcement made during the interview. Chris Brown, who's headlining the Between The Sheets tour with Trey Songz and Tyga, joined the "Make It Work" rapper to reveal their long-awaited single from Fan Of A Fan 2 will be available to hear in early January.
