French Montana And Jeremih Bring Out Waka Flocka And Chinx In NYC
Turned up was the vibe last night when French Montana and Jeremih took the stage last night at NYC's Best Buy Theater. With a full house in tow, both the Coke Boy and the "Don't Tell Em" singer ran through a catalog of their greatest hits with surprise appearances from Waka Flocka and Chinx.
Jeremih graced the stage first performing the crowd favorite "Break Up To Make Up." Decked in an all black hooded get up, the Chi-Town crooner got the crowd on their feet instantly and served up the perfect mellow appetizer ahead French Montana's irresistible turn up. Throughout his set, Jeremih served concert goers with chart toppers like his 50 Cent assisted "Down On Me," his verse on DJ Khaled's "Hold You Down," DJ Spin King's "Adult Swim," as well as his unforgettable debut "Birthday Sex."
The main dish of the night, the headliner, French Montana hit the stage at about 10:45 and rocked out for way past the hour he was expected to perform. Bringing out both Chinx and Waka Flocka, French had the crowd not in a panic but certainly in chaos. With the crowd singing along every word, French performed the old, the new and the favorites. Also dressed in all black everything and with a Chanel ski mask, French came out performing his famed verse on Bobby Shmurda's "Hot N*gga." Throughout the show he performed Coke Boy classics like Jacking 4 Beats' "Return Of The Mack" as well as new heat like "I'm A Coke Boy" alongside Chinx. Back in his hometown and in a bit of a reflective mood, French shouted out Max B several times, once even stating that he wished Max would "get out tomorrow." Waka Flocka came out during "Choppa Choppa Down" and later performed an array of hits including "Hard In Da Paint."
All in all, French did his hometown justice and Jeremih served as the perfect accompanying act. With Waka Flocka and Chinx also in the building, it's safe to say that the show was an ultimate success.
